I am not happy with the service I received today at the Brockport Walmart. I cannot see small print and did not realize a gift card I purchased could not be exchanged. I bought a movie gift card not knowing the card would have to be used too far away for my family to drive. I am a Senior Citizen and don't have a lot of money to spend on gifts. When I got in the sectioned off area for exchanges I stood and waited. There was no one in line. Finally, a clerk with no expression called me forward and asked if she could help me. There was another clerk standing near her. I explained why I couldn't use the card and could I exchange it for a Walmart card of equal value. The answer was a flat no and pointing out the small print on the card that said I couldn't. I said, "Why would you sell these movie cards when it is so far away?" The clerk shrugged. It wasn't bad enough I knew I would be stuck now with a card my grandkids can't use but her attitude was non-caring.
